Mechanical propelling pencil with graphite lead 4B of diameter 5.6mm, combining a metal mechanism - a three-sided plastic red profiled casing and visible nickel plated parts. The pencil is designed for everyday writing and drawing. To eject the lead, the pencil should be held in a tilted position and the knob pressed; the clamp will open and the lead slides out. The knob is equipped with a sharpener; to sharpen the lead, unscrew the knob. The casing features the number of the pencil type and text "KOH-I-NOOR Versatil 5348", printed in silver. Pencils are individually wrapped in a paper box with a label bearing EAN1. Pencils are also packed in sets of 10 pieces in a cardboard box, bearing EAN2.
